 BECY is very involved with the missions at BEC. We know that the Lord is coming back quickly and we understand the need for those to work for Christ and spread His Word. God has given us the opportunity to be a part of several mission trips to Dulce, NM. There we helped to build churches on an Apache Indian reservation. Through this experience we have grown so much in the Lord! Our youth group has an awesome burden for the lost and for those who have never heard the name of Jesus. God has commisioned each and every one of us to "go ye into all the world and preach the gospel..." and we are determined to do just that!

 Our latest mission trip was to Mexico with part of our youth group. We took a van load of us down to help Bro. and Sis. French work on a building in La Chona. First we stopped in Saltio where we visited two different churches and the men helped pour concrete for a patio out in front of the church. The next day, we headed hours into the heart of mexico to little La Chona where the men built a shelter over the dorms and the women painted rooms. These boys worked themselves to death pulling up weeds and thorn bushes, but we were really proud of them. We had the opportunity to go to several churches in the area, including one way out in the desert, and another way up in the mountains. At each church we gave out candy, clothes, and useful items that we take for granted here in the US. It was amazing to see the love of God and the joy of the Lord these people had, although the posessed very little, if anything at all. It was a wonderful experience, and we plan to go back just as soon as we can!
