VIII. The Doctrine of Angels

We believe that there are both good and bad angels, created a little higher than man; that is, spiritual beings capable of doing mighty works if permitted by their masters. Good angels are sent forth to help and protect the heirs of salvation. They are interested in seeing the perfect will of God being carried out in the life of every believer. They must be totally obedient to the Heavenly Father. Angels that sinned were cast out of heaven and are now the servants of Satan and are called demons and evil spirits. Their final reward for rebelling against God will be the take of fire along with that old arch deceiver, Lucifer, the fallen archangel.

IX. The Doctrine of Satan

The Devil is a real personality and force for evil in the world today. He is portrayed in scripture as the god of this world and opposes God and God's people on every hand. His power is only second to the Godhead and to whom God gives the power over him. He is that wicked one, our adversary, the devil, the tempter, the prince of the power of the air, the old serpent, Lucifer. If we have not God and the spirit of God, we will be servants unto Satan according to the Holy Scriptures. But the child of God can have victory over Satan and his temptations by resisting him and standing on the Word of God.

X. The Doctrine of the Last Things

By this we mean: the Second Coming of Christ; the Resurrections of both the righteous and the wicked; the judgments; the final rewards and the eternal destiny of all mankind. In the Second Coming of Christ, we believe that He will rapture the church before the tribulation begins, the marriage supper of the Lamb for all saints, the seven-year period of tribulation upon all the inhabitants of the earth, and the second coming of Christ at the battle of Armageddon to put down the rule of earthly kingdoms and usher in the kingship of Jesus Christ. Then will be the thousand-year millennial reign, and after that the judgment of the wicked.
